SafeSurg joins the Regional Industry Showcase at IEEE IROS 2026 in Pittsburgh, 27 September to 1 October 2026, with a 15-minute startup presentation and a Lunch and Learn founders' panel on Tuesday 29 September. First in-person international appearance for the lab.
The story
IEEE IROS is one of the two largest robotics research conferences in the world. The Innovation Stage sits inside the Regional Industry Showcase and gives selected startups a short slot in front of an audience of robotics researchers, industry teams and investors.
SafeSurg presents a 15-minute talk covering the lab's work on force perception for robot-assisted surgery and on wearable tremor sensing, followed by a Lunch and Learn founders' panel on Tuesday 29 September.
This is the lab's first in-person international appearance.
